Asbestos
As a licensed Asbestos Removal Contractor, Merryhill can conduct asbestos surveys, take samples & undertake asbestos removal from your premises in accordance with current Government legislation. Our services range right from full building surveys, multiple sampling & analysis of suspect asbestos containing materials, through to total removal and disposal management. We can also mop up special or hazardous waste spills and fully dispose of the waste properly. 

Fire  and  Flood  Restoration
IDM's core services for fire and flood recovery in the first phase of disaster response, include emergency assessment, debris removal and damage limitation.  We then ensure full decontamination of all disrupted building structures, all electronic equipment including IT infrastructure, machinery and general contents.  Speed is vital to your business; we will provide you with prompt, sound advice, enabling you to make timely, effective decisions.

Building Drying
Fast drying is essential, not only to avoid mould and other side effects, but also to minimise the impact on business continuity.  IDM have a range of solutions, from traditional dehumidifiers to a large trailer-mounted drying system that can dry out a large building in a few days, rather than weeks, without damaging the building structure. 

Document Recovery
Cleaning and drying contaminated documents can be highly successful, but if wet or mouldy documents are not treated quickly they will disintegrate beyond all possibility of recovery.  IDM will remove them to secure freezer storage to halt this rapid deterioration and to buy time for all options to be explored. 

Deodorisation
IDM can treat a range of odours, including sewerage, smoke and diesel, in buildings, soft furnishing, using various fogging methods or ozone treatment. 

Oil Contaminated Land 
The traditional "dig & dump" method of clearing contaminated land is very expensive and simply moves the problem from one place to another.  IDM use greener, cheaper and less disruptive, biological methods that literally seek out and eat the contamination within the soil.
